One of the most collected items traditionally, we have a considerable collection of sports stamps, with a large concentration of hockey. Encompassing seven large albums, one is filled with first day covers from the 1960s to present including examples for the World Championships and Winter Olympics (including 1980 Miracle on Ice), one is filled with hundreds of Olympic stamps encapsulating many sports from the 1960s to 1990s, one is filled with Canadian and international hockey stamps from the 1970s to 2000s including uncut sheets, and one is filled with Canada Post issues. There is also a binder that contains a copy of the Philatelic Catalog of Ice Hockey, one filled with Asian, African and Middle Eastern sports stamps and one containing sports stamps from North America, Europe and South America. There are also additional envelopes filled with stamps and Canada Post set booklets, with a small framed (8 ¼” x 29” - no glass) display that contains six NHL player images used on stamps including Mikita, Bourque, Durnan, Savard, F Mahovlich and Mike Bossy, and it’s been signed by Bossy.
