Jumping ship to the rebel Federal League in 1914 which proved advantageous for the upstart syndicate - with many influenced to follow, Joe Tinker would help capture a pennant for the Chicago franchise in 1915 before returning to the Cubs the following season. Produced shortly after his foray with the Whales, we have a gorgeous high-grade 1916 Sporting News M101-5 Joe Tinker (blank back) card encapsulated and graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. The second highest-graded with a just a single NM-MT 8 topping our example according to the PSA population report, a total of only five have been graded by the noted authenticators, with our specimen sporting a beautiful surface and corners, off-center from left-to-right.
