The Islanders were the reigning Stanley Cup champions in 1980-81, and they played like it. Clarence S. Campbell Bowl trophy was presented to longtime Islanders fan favorite Garry Howatt, whose 174 penalty minutes led the Islanders for a sixth straight season as New York claimed Campbell Conference honors with an NHL-leading 110 points. Silver-plated trophy with a removable lid stands 11" tall, including a 3-inch high six-sided wood base. "Garry Howatt New York Islanders 1980-81" is engraved on one side of the two-handled bowl, while the trophy’s name is on the other. Beautifully preserved, this magnificent award from the Islanders Stanley Cup dynasty years comes with Gary Howatt’s signed LOA.
