A two-time Stanley Cup champion with the New York Islanders, veteran forward Garry Howatt brought playoff experience to the Maine Mariners that helped lead them to a Calder Cup title in 1983-84. Howatt had 11 points and 46 PIMs while playing each of Maine’s 17 playoff games, capped by a five-game win over Joe Crozier’s Rochester Americans in the final. Howatt’s beautifully preserved Calder Cup Champions 10-karat gold ring weighs approximately 35 grams. It has a real diamond set in the team logo on the tableau, which is encircled by “Maine Mariners 1984” on the bezel. "Balfour 10K" is stamped inside the size 9 3/4 band. In magnificent condition with light surface scratches. Comes with Garry Howatt’s signed LOA.
“Calder Cup Champions” and the trophy are displayed on the right shank , and “Howatt”, the AHL logo and his number 12 on the left shank.
