Some of the greatest Montreal Canadiens of the modern era are featured, with a huge and comprehensive Habs stick collection of 17 from the 1970s/80s. Highlights include Canadien models used by Dryden (late-1970s – with the original tape over the knob, with the stick later used by another individual), Lemaire (mid to late-1970s - original untaped blade) and Cournoyer (mid-1970s), followed by KOHO Custom Pro models used by Shutt (2, with 1 from 1977-78 w/date stamp, the other, from 1981-82 w/date stamp - tape removed from the blade) and Jarvis (mid-to-late-1970s - team-signed with Dryden, Napier, Lapointe and others). We also have a Sher-Wood PMP used by Gainey (1977-78 w/date stamp). The majority of the sticks in the collection have the player’s name over the upper shaft, along with the original tape jobs. Some additional player’s included are Risebrough, Langway, Larouche, Wilson and Pete Mahovlich.
For the remaining players, we have Risebrough (KOHO w/1977-78 date stamp and shaved handle), Langway (Canadien - early-1990s Washington Capitals stick), Larouche (Sher-Wood w/1980-81 date stamp), Wilson (Jofa - circa mid-1970s), Mahovlich (Sher-Wood - early-to-mid-1970s, with tape added to heel of blade), Mondou (Vic - circa late-1970s), Bouchard (Canadien - circa mid-1970s), Nyrop (Jofa - circa mid-1970s), Engblom (KOHO - 1982-83 Washington Capitals stick) and Dan Geoffrion (Vic - circa 1979-80). We should also note that the Dryden stick has had tape removed from the lower handle and paddle, with the signature on the side of the stick not Dryden's. There is also damage from use by an individual after Dryden.
