Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A Hall of Famer, NHL and L.A. Kings anniversary patches, there’s a lot going on with this game-worn jersey! L.A.’s “Silver Season” 25th anniversary patch is sewn on the left shoulder of Jari Kurri’s 1991-92 Kings black road gamer, which has the NHL 75th anniversary patch worn league-wide that season on the right breast. Elected to the HOF in 2001 with 601 goals, 1,398 points and five Stanley Cups to his credit, the sharpshooting Finn was reunited with Wayne Gretzky after playing a season in Italy in 1990-91 for a 60-point debut campaign with the Kings. Kurri’s game-worn jersey with Maska and size 54 flag tags sports his customary No. 17, which has been retired by the Edmonton Oilers. Game wear includes black marks on the rear tail and left sleeve, board burns on the sleeves, and marks on the silver twill of the “1” on the back.
Fight strap in the back and NHL and CCM embroidered logos on the right rear hem.
