Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019

Ranked in the book ‘100 Ranger Greats’, defenceman Arnie Brown spent lengthy time with the Blueshirts, with additional seasons in Detroit, Atlanta and others. We have a stick used by the Oshawa native during the 1971-72 season, and it’s been team-signed by that year’s Stanley Cup champion-Boston Bruins. A Sher-Wood Pattern Pro model, “Brown” appears stamped over the upper shaft, with white tape over the handle and blade. With just light use exhibited, a dozen Bruins have added large red marker signatures over both sides of the shaft including HOFers Orr, Bucyk, Cheevers and Phil Esposito, along with Stanfield, Sanderson, Walton, Hodge, Leach, Green, Johnston and Matt Ravlich. The signatures stand out beautifully, including the Orr, with no issues whatsoever.
