Earning the moniker “The Cat” due to his quick reflexes, Emile Francis tended the Rangers’ net for 22 games over 4 seasons, later serving the Blueshirts behind the bench for a decade, from the mid-1960s to mid-1970s. Featuring an exquisite chenille Rangers crest on the left breast along with a fantastic embroidered American and Canadian crossed-flags patch on the left sleeve, this striking blue Rangers jacket with white and red accents and Hall of Fame pedigree has a size “40” Crosby label within the left pocket. An inventory number has also been handwritten on the interior beneath the collar, with this number duplicated over a patch affixed to the inside pocket. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
Some fraying on the upper edge of the knit collar and left cuff is present, with wear to the outside pockets and front band, as well as a bit of light staining to the interior.
