A 1998 Philadelphia Flyers’ draft selection, netminder Antero Niittymaki first gained seasoning in his native Finland playing for TPS for three seasons. His NHL career would include parts of 5 seasons with the Flyers, along with single-seasons with both San Jose and Tampa Bay. We have a photo-matched Lightning jersey from Niittymaki’s lone campaign in Tampa in 2009-10, where he saw action in 49 contests. “Goalie Style” labeling with a sewn-down size “58” CCM tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring “Bolts” placed diagonally across the chest in individual and layered tri-colour tackle twill letters, “30” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Sporting a few puck marks across the team crest letters, there is also some very light pilling over the lower front. Getty Image #96579143 from Feb 6th 2010 has been matched to the diagonal black mark in the middle of the "S" of "Bolts", and to the two loose threads nearby. A patch from MeiGray numbered “G14893” has been affixed to the inside hem of the "Third Set 1" garment, with a matching LOA to accompany.
