Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
One of the game’s largest players at approx 6 ft 7 in, 250 lbs, Hal Gill is a veteran of over 1000 NHL contests along the blueline, with appearances made for six different clubs including Boston, Montreal and Toronto. We have a Maple Leafs jersey worn by the Concord native in 2006-07, his first of two seasons in Ontario. A CCM label with “58” sizing is attached to the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Featuring the club’s famous team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, “25” appears over the sleeves and verso in tri-colour tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. With a few dark marks over the front and sleeves, there are also small holes over the left elbow and lower right front, with board burns and paint transfer over the left sleeve’s number. A patch from MeiGray numbered “D11809” is situated on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a “White Set 2” example.
