Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Used while reliving past glories, we have a signed stick that saw action in the retired hands of superstar HOF member and Canadiens all-time leading scorer, Guy Lafleur. Hailing from the late-1990s/early-2000s and used in an Old Timers capacity, the stick is a Sher-Wood SOP 5030 model, with “Lafleur 10” stamped-on, with the original black tape over the blade and white over the handle/knob. Moderate to heavier use is visible, with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, with additional dark marks over the shaft. Guy has signed the lower shaft in black marker, with the middle section of the signature somewhat light, with this most likely occurring due to a weak marker. A hologram From Classic Authentic has also been affixed to the lower shaft on the reverse side of the autograph.
