Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
The NHL’s oldest and most successful club, the Montreal Canadiens have won 24 Stanley Cup championships, and the 2008-09 season is considered their 100th despite the club actually starting on Dec 4th 1909. From that historic season of 2008-09, we have a goal mask signed by the Canadiens squad. A Franklin GFM1000 model in Habs colours, team emblems have been placed over the chin and each lower side, with 15 signing in blue marker, including Price, Kostitsyn, Hamrlik, Bouillon, O’Byrne, coaches Carbonneau and Muller and others. The signatures display beautifully, with a couple smudged from handling. A hologram from CSI has been affixed over the back top section, with a COA to accompany. A 14” x 11” x 12” (the base extends) plexiglass display case with a small plaque affixed to the front is also included.
