Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A veteran of 10 NHL seasons, Billy Reay is well remembered for his time behind the bench of the Chicago Black Hawks throughout the mid-1960s to late-1970s, with three Stanley Cup finals appearances made, in 1965, 1971 and 1973. Reay is the winningest coach in Black Hawks history. An honoured member of the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame, Reay would pass in 2004, at the age of 86. We have a puck signed by the two-time Stanley Cup champion. A gorgeous InGlasCo official NHL game puck with Stanley Cup centennial logo (1993), Reay has signed just above the InGlasCo logo in silver, with the clean signature displaying well. A sticker from JSA numbered “H09888” has been affixed near the centennial logo, with a matching Basic Certification to accompany.
