Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Featuring a pair of the modern game’s most prominent superstars and Hall of Fame members, we have a game-issued goal stick signed by the only thrice-winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy in history, Patrick Roy, along with a second game-issued stick signed by the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer for defenceman, Ray Bourque. The Roy stick is a KOHO model in Habs colours, with “P. Roy” stamped-on, along with a “06 Mars 1995” date stamp. St Patrick has added a thin black marker signature across the front side of the blade, with some storage and handling wear to the stick itself. The Bourque stick is a Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 model with “Bourque 77” factory graphics and “Boston” stamped on the underside. Ray has placed a thick and flowing black marker signature across the front side of the blade, and it displays beautifully. We should also note a pair of drilled holes in the Bourque stick from a former mounting.
