First gaining seasoning with the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks, Sven Baertschi was drafted 13th overall at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by Calgary, with the Swiss forward currently in his fifth season in Vancouver. We have a photo-matched Calgary Flames jersey worn by Baertschi during his rookie season in 2011-12, specifically on March 13 and March 15th, 2012. A label with “56” sizing sits affixed to the collar near handwritten “47”, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a layered Flames tackle twill team crest, the red tie-neck has been accented with slanted sleeve and verso numbers in matching material, with a Canadian flag patch over the left shoulder and Alberta provincial crest over the right. Fabric pulls are visible over the lower front, with a few faint marks and burns over the left sleeve. Getty Image #141401517 from March 15th has been matched to the loose red thread in the middle of the team crest. The team patch is rubberized over the inside hem, with an LOA from the Flames and COR from MeiGray to accompany the “Set 2” jersey.
