Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
One of the toughest to acquire of modern HOF signatures, we have a neat pairing of Ken Dryden items, with a framed display that contains a signature cut with a graded rookie card, along with a signed 30th anniversary copy of The Game. An 11” x 17” full colour image used for his 1988 Esso All-Stars card has been placed at left (wrinkles are present along with a few creases), with a copy of the Esso card graded 9.5 by ACA along the top right, with Dryden’s Topps rookie card graded NM 7 by ACA placed directly below. The ballpoint signature cut has been placed beneath the Topps card, with no issues for the signature, with Ken adding the year “1989”, along with “Best Wishes”. A plaque has been inserted listing career highlights for the superstar, framed to full dimensions of approx 23” x 29”. The softcover copy of The Game is from 2013, with Dryden signing over the second page in black ink beneath his image, with no issues for the signature or book itself. A JSA LOA will accompany for the framed signature cut, with a PSA/DNA COA for the book signature.
