Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A fifth round draft selection by the New York Islanders in 2011, Ryan Strome has represented Canada at the World Juniors, and has currently just concluded his first season with the New York Rangers. We have an Edmonton Oilers jersey worn by the Mississauga native in 2017-18, where he appeared in 82 games. An Elite label is affixed to the collar along with an Adidas piping band listing a size “56”, with NHL and Adidas logos over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a gorgeous Oilers team crest with embroidered detailing, “18” appears over the sleeves and verso in ventilated twill, with the NHL centennial crest over the right sleeve. A few dark marks are visible over the front and sleeves, with light burns near each elbow section, along with a material-backed team repair over the lower right sleeve. There is also a bit of blue paint transfer over each sleeve, with a small tear near the right elbow. A patch from MeiGray numbered “P02426” sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA from the Oilers to accompany the “White Set 1 w/ NHL Centennial Patch” jersey.
