Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

Two masked marvels who backstopped the Montreal Canadiens to the club's last eight Stanley Cup championships are where we'll start here, Ken Dryden doing "his thing" to the tune of six Cups in eight seasons and appearing on his 1971-72 Topps rookie card wearing that killer original mask of his. Card #45 is EX-MT (OC), with notably lightly touched corners and a small notch in the right edge. Patrick Roy was also already a Cup champion when he was pictured on his RC, the '86-87 O-Pee-Chee entry here close to NM at EX-MT+. Guy Lafleur contributed to five Montreal treks to the pinnacle of the hockey world, with his '71-72 OPC rookie free of unsightly creases and VG+, with small corner creases and corner wear holding it back. Longtime Red Wings' leader Steve Yzerman returned Detroit to the winners circle after a 42-year absence and his '84-85 OPC RC contributes here in EX-MT condition. The rookies of four formidable champions add up to a nifty offering.
