Seeing first hand NHL action with each used to plot a goal, we have a collection of 5 goal pucks, with each hailing from goals scored by the Montreal Canadiens. First, we have a puck used by Tomas Plekanec to score a goal in Game 3 during the second round of the 2007-08 playoffs vs Philadelphia, on April 28, 2008. Assisted by Latendresse and Kostitsyn, it was Plekanec’s 2nd career playoff goal, with just light surface wear over both sides of the puck itself. A hologram has been added, with a matching LOA to accompany. Next, we have a trio of pucks from the 2014-15 season that were all used against Ottawa, with the goal scorers Alex Galchenyuk and Max Pacioretty (2), with each having a COA from the Sens. Lastly, the final puck hails from 2012-13 and was used by David Desharnais to score a goal against the Florida Panthers, on March 10, 2013.
Each of the three pucks used to score goals against the Senators have tape wrapped around the side, with the particulars handwritten. The first Pacioretty goal has “Mon #67 19:24 Per 2” written, with light wear to the puck itself. The second Pacioretty goal has “Mtl #67 15:35 Per 1” written, with light to moderate wear to the puck itself. The Galchenyuk goal puck has “Mon #27 8:46 P2” written, with wear to the graphics on the NHL logo side, along with a fairly large edge gouge. Lastly, the puck used to score a goal by Desharnais against Florida also sports tape wrapped around the side, with "Mtl Goal: Desharnais (8) 3/10/13 Mtl 5 Fla 2” written, with wear to both sides of the puck and a hologram affixed to the Panthers logo side.
