Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

Those fascinated with the mystique and career of Maurice "Rocket" Richard may be interested in this nifty ensemble, with a coveted Richard Parkhurst rookie card not hard to look at all despite its "10 POOR 1" assessment by SGC. Three of the four corners are snipped but card #4 retains bold original colors and light creases are subtle not-very-detracting affairs. An unmarked problem-free back is also to mention. A cheaper alternative to a mid or high grade example this one will be. A splendid complement is a 1948 playing card, with the Rocket's image and facsimile autograph appearing on one side and advertising for a St-Hyacinthe, Quebec optometrist joining the three of diamonds on the other. An older PSA holder includes an EX 5 grade on its label. Like the Rocket, fascinating eh?!
