Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
The Western Hockey League’s player-of-the-year award winner in 2013-14, Sam Reinhart was selected second-overall at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, with Buffalo being the lucky recipients. From his time in the WHL, we have a Kootenay Ice captain’s jersey worn by the North Vancouver native, in either 2013-14 or 2014-15. A Reebok label is affixed to the collar near a sewn-down “56” size tag, with a CHL crest over the reverse hem. Styled with a multi-coloured Ice team crest with embroidered detailing, “23” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder and a WHL patch just above the right breast. Reinhart would average well over a-point-a-game during his time with Kootenay, including scoring 105 points during the 2013-14 campaign.
In wonderful condition and exhibiting just very light game use, faint board burns are visible over each sleeve, with a few additional burns over the lower reverse.
