Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

The cards of Toronto, Montreal and Detroit legends lead the lineup here, with none more important/valuable to the 1961-62 Parkhurst set than the coveted rookie card of Maple Leaf all-time great Dave Keon. Card #5 leads condition-wise too; we see it as a NM example with less-than-perfect centering and light toning. Mostly crease-free group includes three other Hall of Famers at NM; 16-Stanley, 26-Ullman and 29-Pronovost, while 15 EX-MTs are highlighted by 31-Sawchuk, 17-Armstrong, 25-Delvecchio and 36-Moore. Another 14 are in the EX to EX+ range, including 3-Bower, 7-Shack, 35-Geoffrion and 51-Pronovost. Among the biggies, a pea-size stain on the upper back affects the otherwise EX Gordie Howe card, with a small corner crease or corner wear sending 1-Horton, 2-Mahovlich, 45-Beliveau and 49-Plante to VG+ and 43-Richard to VG. The remainder include half a dozen VG+ or VG-EX entries, with an equal amount, including 9-Kelly, at VG. Another interesting Parkhurst assembly to consider.
