A second-round draft choice in 1979, Guy Carbonneau spent a dozen seasons with the Habs, earning Frank J. Selke Trophies in 1988, 1989, and 1992. Originating from Guy’s personal collection and presented to him by the Montreal Canadiens, we have a plaque that feature’s the Sept-Îles native’s very first goal puck. At 10” x 15”, the wooden plaque with finished beveled edges feature’s an affixed metal plate with the Canadiens puck centered, with a raised full colour Habs logo above, along with the particulars engraved including the date of “23 OCT 1982”, along with “Guy Carbonneau” and “Premier But”. Guy has added an attractive black marker signature over the verso, with a signed LOA to accompany from the star.
The puck shows light to moderate wear, with the Habs logo intact and just some minor darkening. The affixed plate shows numerous scratches, with a few examples along with light wear to the wooden plaque itself.
