Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Selected second overall in 1991 by the San Jose Sharks, Pat Falloon was the first player drafted by the fledgling franchise, spending parts of five seasons in California before being traded to Philadelphia late in 1995. We have a Flyers jersey that was worn by the Foxwarren native circa 1996-98. A Center Ice tag is affixed to the collar beneath a Nike label with “52” sizing and handwritten “15”, with embroidered NHL and Nike swoosh logos over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the famous Flyers team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the solid orange V-neck has been accented with orange sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with “Falloon” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. We should note that the smaller sizing is consistent with the matching home jersey worn by Falloon, which is also offered in this auction. Numerous dark marks are visible over each sleeve along with board burns, with a few thin stick marks beneath the team crest. A COA from longtime Flyers’ trainer Jim “Turk” Evers will accompany.
