A Toronto Maple Leafs draft choice in 1987, Joe Sacco dressed for 738 NHL games with 5 different clubs. The Medford native has also represented the US at 7 different World Championships. We have a Philadelphia Flyers jersey worn by Sacco during his final NHL season, in 2002-03. A CCM label with “56” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with the famous Flyers team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with white sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with “Sacco” across the affixed nameplate in single black twill. The fight strap and MeiGray patch (A06604) are marked “promo”, with these examples listed as the “Player’s Set” in the MeiGray population report. A few stick marks are situated beneath the team crest and over the lower front, with faint board burns over each sleeve. There are also additional marks over the left sleeve’s number, with a small hole over the lower reverse. A COA from longtime Flyers’ trainer Jim “Turk” Evers will accompany.
