Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
Seeing action during the first round of the 2002 Stanley Cup playoffs, we have a Los Angeles Kings jersey worn by 1993 First Round-draft choice, Jason Allison. CCM labeling along with a size “58” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom him respectively. Styled with an attractive Kings team crest with embroidered detailing, the white V-neck has been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the 2002 NHL All-Star Game crest over the right breast and “AM” crest – for Garnet E. 'Ace' Bailey and Mark Bavis who died on September 11, 2001 – over the left. The team patch resides on the inside hem denoting 2002 playoffs, with the crest initialed by team trainer Peter Millar. Allison would lead the Kings in points in 2001-02, with 6 points also scored in the team’s 7 playoff games. A few random marks are present, along with faint board burns over each sleeve. The Kings would only see first-round action in the 2002 playoffs, with Allison dressing in each of the 7 games.
