Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

Considered by many to be the top blueliner in the game today, Erik Karlsson spent nine seasons in the nation’s capital, with a pair of James Norris Trophies won as top defenceman along with five All-Star game appearances. From his Norris-winning season of 2014-15, we have a stick that was used by the Swedish superstar, with this example team-signed by the Ottawa Senators. A Warrior Dynasty model in solid black with white accents, “Karlsson” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with the original white tape over the handle and knob. Most of the blade tape has been removed to facilitate signatures, with approx. 21 silver paint pen examples over the front side of the blade and shaft including Karlsson, along with Stone, Turris, Ryan, Hoffman and others.
“57” has been handwritten over the handle, with this to signify use in the 57th game of the season, occurring on Feb 21st vs Florida. Light use is exhibited, with wear over the handle wrap along with a few marks and chips to the surface over the shaft. The remaining signers include Chiasson, Condra, Ceci, Pageau, Lazar, Gryba, Methot, Cowen, Neil, Phillips and a few others.
