Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
A veteran of over 1000 NHL contests, defenceman Adrian Aucoin provided more than just defending, with his career-high 44 points occurring in 2003-04. We have a New York Islanders alternate captain’s jersey that was worn by the Ottawa native in 2002-03, his second of three seasons on Long Island. Size “56” labeling graces the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the back neckline and reverse bottom hem respectively. Styled with the famous Long Island team crest with embroidered detailing, the white “Set 3” V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with an alternate patch over the right shoulder. Numerous marks are visible over the lower front and sleeves, with faint board burns over the left elbow and blue paint transfer over the upper right sleeve. The team patch sits over the inside hem along with an example from MeiGray numbered “A07368”, with a matching LOA to accompany.
