Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Hailing from the very first season of big league hockey in Tennessee, we have Craig Darby’s Nashville Predators jersey that saw preseason duty prior to the expansion team’s inaugural campaign in 1998-99. Bauer and size 58 flag tags remain in the neck and "Nashville 98" patches sit on each shoulder of this preseason gamer which features Darby’s name on a stiff and substantial removable Velcro nameplate. Embroidered NHL and Bauer crests also grace the back bottom hem, with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers also utilized. Game wear includes a few marks over the lower front and sleeves, with heavy pilling over each sleeve. There are also a few stains present, most notably on the lower front, that most likely have not occurred through game-use. Darby spent the entire 1998-99 NHL regular season with the Predators' farm club, the Milwaukee Admirals.
