Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A product of the University of Maine, Keith Carney dressed for a number of NHL clubs throughout his career. The Providence native also represented the US on the international scale at both the World Juniors and Winter Olympics. We have a Phoenix Coyotes jersey that was worn by Carney in 1999-00, where he appeared in 82 games. Pro Player labeling and a size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with NHL and Pro Player crests over the reverse bottom hem. Featuring a multi-coloured and partially-textured Coyotes team crest, the V-neck sweater has been accented with burgundy tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with green trim, with a “Goals for Kids” crest over the left shoulder and alternate team crest over the right. There is also the NHL 2000 crest over the right breast. Game-wear is very light, and includes a fairly large stick mark near the team crest. The team patch sits over the inside hem, and it denotes the garment as 3rd set example. An LOA from the Coyotes organization will accompany along with a COR from MeiGray.
