Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018

Perfect pairing of sticks once handled by two of the top scorers of he Seventies era. Marcel Dionne’s game-used CCM is a short CCM Custom Pro with his name stamp most likely covered by the creamy white handle tape. The shaft does have his “16” in marker and the blade has four wraps of cloth tape just at the tip, typical of his 1975-76 gamers. Shows good use with a small area of damage at the lower blade tip. Darryl Sittler’s Sher-Wood PMP 5030 was made for number “9” and this number has been blacked out and “27” has been added in marker. Obvious Sittler-style ribbed handle tape job and a fully-taped blade with his recognizable squared-off blade tip. Signed high up on the shaft with a good crack at the heel and blade.
