The Tampa Bay Lightning were delighted to scoop up Victor Hedman with the No. 2 pick in the 2009 NHL Draft. And here’s your opportunity to lay your hands on the super-sized Swedish defenseman’s photo-matched 2009-10 Lightning game-worn rookie season jersey, which is matched to his 10th NHL game by a Getty Images photo of Hedman wearing it in a 5-2 win against Ottawa at St. Pete Times Forum on Oct. 29, 2009. The Lightning LOA that accompanies Hedman’s home gamer states that it is a “Black Set 1” jersey. Size 58+ flag tag sits in the back of the neck and MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2009-2010 Season registry patch is sewn inside the rear tail. Game wear shows in board burns on the sleeves.
The jersey is photo-matched to Getty Images #92531197:
By a pair of loose threads on the "77" on the right breast, including a silver-colored thread on the right side of the upper portion of the left “7” and a blue thread on the top edge of the right “7”;
To the number “77” on the left sleeve by an uneven area on the bottom edge of the lower left corner of the left "7", by the extra blue thread stitching in the middle top of the left “7” and to the loose frayed silver thread on the bottom of the right "7".
