A representative of the US on numerous international occasions, defenceman Jack Johnson won a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. We have a Team USA jersey worn at the tournament by Johnson, in the 3-1 win over Switzerland on Feb 16th. A label from the IIHF along with screened-on “62” sizing resides over the collar, with a Nike swoosh logo over the right breast. Styled with “USA” placed across the chest in individual dual-colour tackle twill letters, the polyester/spandex garment has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. A Nike bar code numbered “73457” has also been heat-pressed to the inside hem, with a matching COA from the NHLPA to accompany.
With just a few faint marks over the lower front, the jersey remains in wonderful condition. We should also note that Getty Image #96756292 from the Feb 16th contest against the Swiss shows the long loose thread on the "U" of "USA" on the team crest, along with the faint mark on the right shoulder, but neither is high resolution enough to call a definitive photo-match.
