Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Involved in the trade that sent Brett Hull to St Louis in 1988, Rob Ramage played 15 seasons in hockey’s greatest league, with over 1000 games witnessed along with 2000+ penalty minutes. We have a photo-matched Colorado Rockies jersey worn by the 1979 1st overall draft choice in 1980-81, a 62 point season. A Rawlings size “50” label graces the collar, with no additional tagging present. Styled with a rubberized team crest, numbers and shoulder crests, the vintage mesh-with-knit-striping-bands V-neck utilizes a loop-style “skate lace” fight strap, with “Ramage” over the nameplate in heat-pressed vinyl letters. Four included numeric images have been matched to the jersey, including to a pair of marks on the right sleeve, to the two unrepaired holes on the lower right sleeve, to the large diagonal mark on the lower front hem and to the separation of material on the back of the jersey (junction of mesh and knit).
Marks are visible over the lower front and sleeves, with burns along with a few resulting holes just above each cuff. There is also light wear to the sleeve and verso numbers, with a small hole/separation over the reverse bottom hem.
