Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A gathering of assorted vintage sporting items totaling 4, we have three items that pertain to hockey, along with a single baseball specimen. Included we have a turn-of-the-century cabinet card photo of what appears to be a junior or college team. At 3 ½” x 4 ¼” and affixed to a 5 ¾” X 6 ¾” mount, the antique image pictures a full team including netminder, with light to moderate wear to both the image and mount. Next, we have a 1931-32 GM Toronto Maple Leafs puzzle, with just edge wear to a number of pieces on the complete 8” x 10” premium. This is followed by a 1935 Quaker Oats Babe Ruth scorer, with this the more common Braves variation, with just minor red spotting along both the front and reverse. Lastly, we have a 1942-50 CCM Art Ross puck, with clean rubberized logo and just a few blemishes present along with a very faint “AL” noticeable on the reverse.
