Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

With Joe DiMaggio making his first of 10 postseason appearances, the 1936 World Series featured the Yankees taking on their crosstown rivals from Manhattan, with this being the Giants second Fall Classic showing in just four years, previously winning in 1933. The first Yankee Series without The Babe, six games would be needed, with the Bombers handing out heavy losses including 18-4 and 13-5 for their first of four consecutive championships. We have an un-scored program for the Series. At 9” x 11” and fairly thick, the program remains complete including the line-ups, with the center page detached at the bottom staple. There is also spotting and heavy creasing to the back cover along with a small separation along the bottom of the spine, with moderate to heavy handling wear throughout.
