Wayne Primeau suited up for a number of NHL teams throughout his lengthy career including Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Boston, Calgary, and finally, the Toronto Maple Leafs. We have here his game-worn Toronto Maple Leafs jersey from his final season, where he played in 59 games. Size 58 plus tagging is attached to the collar with no serious condition issues to note. A MeiGray patch with inventory number is located on the lower inner bottom above the hem. Some board burns are present on both sleeves along with a number of team repairs, again relegated to the sleeves. This garment is photo-matched to small black marks on the lower white band of the right sleeve, loose thread on the lower right sleeve area, loose threads on the bottom of the 1 and the 8 on the left sleeve, a green mark on the 8 on the left sleeve and a small hole that was never repaired above it. This lot includes 12 printed 8x10 photos all identified by game throughout the period he wore the jersey, including the numerous photo-matches. A DVD with numerous numeric photos of Primeau in the time period he wore the jersey with, and without, the alternate captain’s “A” which was removed from the breast will also accompany this lot as well as an LOA from the MeiGray Group.
