Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A gold medal winner with Canada at the World Juniors, Canada Cup and Winter Olympics, Theoren Fleury spent 15 memorable seasons in the NHL, with the bulk of that time spent with Calgary. This Flames jersey was worn by the feisty winger most likely in the playoffs in 1990-91, his most productive season, where he finished with 104 points including 51 goals in 79 games played. Maska Air Knit tagging with handwritten “46” is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive tri-layer team crest, the white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, along with “Fleury” across the nameplate in matching material. A few marks are visible on the lower front, along with a few fabric pulls. There are also a few small stains, including what appears to be dried blood.
