Currently second on the Vancouver Canucks list for all-time points by a defenceman, Jyrki Lumme spent 9 seasons on the West Coast, helping the squad advance to the 1994 Stanley Cup finals. This Canucks jersey was worn by the Finnish native in 1991-92, his third season with the club, and it’s been photo-matched. Maska Ultrafil and size “56” tagging is attached to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL patches on the back bottom hem. Styled with an almost completely embroidered team crest, the black V-neck has been embellished with tri-colour tackle twill numbers, with the important NHL 75th anniversary patch over the right breast. Heavy wear is present, with a number of board burns with resulting holes over each sleeve along with 11 team repairs.
A pair of repairs are present over the right sleeve, with 5 on the left, along with additional pairs over the front and back. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-matches, Getty Image #627108872 from Dec 7th 1991 has been matched to the particularities of the #21 on the right sleeve, especially on the 2, while Getty Image #627108876, also from Dec 7th, has been matched to the particularities of the #21 on the left sleeve.
