Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
From a huge season in 1990-91 that witnessed an NHL Second All-Star Team selection, Adam Oates garnered an incredible 115 points in 61 games while playing along fellow HOFer Brett Hull. This Blues alternate captain’s jersey was worn that very season by the Ontario native. Maska Air Knit tagging sits along the collar with handwritten “50”, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive Blues team crest with “St Louis” affixed, the solid white garment has been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with “Custom Crafted” embossed over the back bottom hem along with a cut fight strap. Oates has signed to the right of the team crest in blue felt tip, and the signature is flawless.
Game-wear on the desirable sweater includes a few marks on the lower front, with additional examples over each sleeve. There are also a few faint board burns present.
