Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Near complete set of five individual photos of the NHL's 1965-66 First All-Star Team produced by Weekend Magazine, missing only the Mikita example for completion. Renowned staff photographer Frank Prazak's lens simply yet elegantly captured the essence of Hall, Howe, Bobby Hull, Pierre Pilote and Jacques Laperriere in his striking and detailed individual portraits of all five hockey legends. Printed on paper stock that measures 14 1/2" x 10 1/2" overall, each photo features the player's name, team and his position on the 1965-66 First All-Star Team. Exhibiting just expected handling wear, each example remains vibrant and in beautiful condition, with a tiny crease along the middle section of each border on the left hand side.
