Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
The perfect pieces to augment any displayed hockey collection, we have vintage table-top games from Gotham and Reliable. The Gotham example is the G-210 model, with metal and pressed cardboard construction. Two tin goalies spin around and fire the puck, with the ice surface covered with gorgeous period graphics. The surface exhibits a slight warp, with some heavy creases and wear present. At roughly 11” x 23” x 3 ½”, the Hewitt game made by Reliable features plastic and metal construction, with well-detailed metal players. The referee pieces have broken off, and are no longer present. All players are in place including the goalies, with the game surviving in very good condition. The surface shows wear including marks and scratches, and would benefit from a thorough cleaning. The mechanism is stiff, and there are sections where the cardboard is coming loose along the underside. Two steel balls for game play are also included.
