With teams from Canada, the US and Europe competing, the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament is the largest in the world, with presently over 1000 past participants having played or are playing in the NHL. This lot contains a nice group of 7 programs from the tournament, ranging from 1962-1977, along with a 5” crest for the event. We have a pair of programs from 1962, three from ’63 and single copies for 1976 and ’77. Also included is a single typed page, with rosters listed for the 1963 tournament, which includes a young Marcel Dionne playing for Drummondville. We also have a 1989 program for a match between Laval and Victoriaville. Ranging in size from roughly 7” x 9” to 7” x 10 ½”, a number of future stars are listed in rosters including Mario Lemieux (1977), Guy Charbonneau (1976), Bob Sweeney (1976) and others. Most of the programs remain in pleasing condition, with a few exhibiting condition issues. The 1976 and ’77 examples have issues including toning, spotting, creases and surface wear, along with many pen notations throughout. A few of the earlier examples also exhibit cover creases.
