Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017

Fresh off his recent Cooperstown nod, we have a great little group of Expos items highlighted by a cap game-worn by newly elected HOFer Tim Raines. We also have 2 pairs of cleats, with a pair worn by Ron LeFlore, the other Charlie Lea. Rounding out the neat lot, we have a Montreal Expos team jacket. The Raines cap dates from the 1980s, a New Era model with labeling present including an MLB tag, an embroidered Expos logo sits above the brim, with “30” handwritten along the underside. The hat shows thorough use, with some light soiling and dirt staining throughout. The LeFlore cleats hail from 1980 and are Converse rubber sole models, with identifiers on the side, tongue and outside heel, with nice use exhibited including dirt still present within the cleats from sliding into base during any of his 97 steals that season. The Lea cleats originate from 1981-85. Nike models hailing from his most productive seasons in Montreal, and they exhibit heavy use with considerable wear, with rubber covering on the right toes for his time on the mound. Lastly, the Expos jacket is a thin vinyl pull-over affair with Starter labeling along with the bottom trimmed. An Expos logo sits over the right breast, with the sleeves trimmed off as well.
