A first round choice of Toronto in 2005, netminder Tuukka Rask has logged every minute of NHL ice time with Boston, also representing his native Finland in a number of tournaments, including the 2016 World Cup. This Team Finland jersey was worn by the Savonlinna native in the second and third periods of their Sept 20 2016 contest vs Sweden, and it’s been photo-matched. An Adidas sizing band sits along the collar, with “WCH” and Adidas logos residing over the front and back necklines. Styled with a gorgeous Finish team crest, the sweater has been accented with ventilated tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with an SAP software advertising patch over the right shoulder, and World Cup crest over the left. A hologram from Fanatics Authentic numbered ZZ0039222 has also been affixed to the fight strap below the handwritten “3”.
Worn for only a pair of periods, the jersey exhibits just light use, with a few small random marks present. A patch from Fanatics Authentic has been affixed to the inside hem, and according to their website, the jersey is a "Game-used White #40 Jersey Worn VS Team Sweden During the 2nd and 3rd Periods on September 20, 2016” Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, an included numeric image has been matched to the two light black marks on the chest.
