Goaltender Jaroslav Halak has represented Slovakia on a number of international occasions, including at the World Juniors, Winter Olympics and at the 2016 World Cup. This Team Europe jersey was worn by the Bratislava native in the 2nd and 3rd periods of the first game of the finals vs Team Canada on Sept 27th, and it’s been photo-matched. An Adidas sizing band sits along the collar, with “WCH” and Adidas logos residing over the front and back necklines. Styled with an attractive Team Europe team crest, the sweater has been accented with ventilated tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with a Slovak flag patch over the left shoulder, and World Cup crest just above it. A hologram from Fanatics Authentic numbered ZZ0038992 has also been affixed to the fight strap below the handwritten “3”.
Game-wear includes dark marks over the right sleeve and team crest, with additional wear to the left sleeve below the numbers. A patch from Fanatics Authentic has been affixed to the inside hem, and according to their website, the jersey is a "Game-used White #41 Jersey Worn During the 2nd and 3rd Periods VS Team Czech on 9/19/16, VS Team Canada on 9/21/16, and VS Team Canada on 9/27/16” Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, a pair of included numeric images have been matched to the big black mark on the right arm, and to the big black mark over the team crest.
