Making his inaugural return as an All-Star to Northlands Coliseum early in 1989, the 40th NHL All-Star Game took place on Feb 7th, with Wayne and his Campbell squad downing their Wales opposition 9-5. The contest is noteworthy for Wayne tying Gordie Howe for all-time All-Star Game goals with a first period marker. We have a 1989 Campbell Conference vintage pro jersey signed by the iconic legend. Maska Air-Knit labeling with handwritten “54” remains affixed to the collar, with a CCM crest over the bottom hem. Styled with a gorgeous NHL shield crest, the white mesh has been accented with affixed stars, along with both “99” and “Gretzky” over the reverse in tackle twill. Wayne has signed within the first “9” on verso, and the dark signature displays perfectly.
