Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
Veteran American defenseman Eric Weinrich wore this Vancouver Canucks gamer late in the 2005-06 season, his last in the NHL. Weinrich played the final 16 games of his 17-season career with the Canucks after he was acquired in a trade with the St. Louis Blues. A size 56 flag tag hangs in the back of the neck and game wear shows in black marks on the front and its tail, a faint blue mark on the left front to the right of the team crest, and a few light board burns on the sleeves. The square “2005-2006 Season” patch is sewn to the left of the MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2004-2005 Season registry patch from the previous season, which was never played because of a lockout. Its registry number corresponds to the one on the accompanying LOA, which states that the jersey is a “White Set 3 jersey” that was worn by Weinrich during the 2005-06 regular season.
