Jason Arnott’s 2003-04 Stars game-worn alternate jersey is a pretty unforgettable Dallas third jersey, for better or for worse. The Stars added red to their color palette and a fascinating crest on the front of their third jersey that came to be known as the Mooterus by those who ridiculed the supposed representation of the constellation Taurus because it looked like a diagram of something else entirely. No matter, racked up a solid season with the Stars in 2003-04 with 21 goals and 57 points. His game-worn alternate jersey has some nice game wear in the form of board burns on the sleeves, with a couple of unrepaired burn holes on the right sleeve, which has a few black marks. More game wear shows in a black mark on the bottom of the right “4” on the back. A size 58 flag tag sits in the back of the collar and a MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2003-2004 Season patch is sewn inside the rear tail. Its registry number matches the one on the accompanying LOA, which states that this gamer is a “Third Set 2 jersey” worn by Arnott during the 2003-04 regular season.
