Seen in the UK months prior the the American theatrical release on the final day of 1964, The Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb was directed and produced by Michael Carreras and starred Terence Morgan and Ronald Howard. Set in Victorian Egypt, three Egyptologists discover a mummy along with a trove of ancient artifacts, with the Mummy soon taking revenge on his would-be discoverers. We have a typically-sized one sheet poster from the film. Featuring the picture's antagonist clutching a screaming damsel, campy text along the top section declares “Half-bone half-bandage and all blood-curdling horror!” Thrice folded, the poster exhibits prominent fold lines, with a single vertical fold line along with three horizontal examples. The colours remain fairly bold, with heavy wear along fold line intersections including heavier wear along the top fold with a small hole. A number of edge tears are also present along the bottom, with some additional wear along edges on both sides. Hand-numbered “64/348”, “Curse of the Mummy’s Tomb” is stamped on the reverse.
